Anya & Brennon's Tropical Boho Kingscliff Wedding

Anya & Brennon’s Tropical Boho Kingscliff Wedding

Anya and Brennon exchanged vows at Roman Robinson Park – Kingscliff on 19th September 2019, officially becoming Mr & Mrs Kendall.

We caught up with Anya to find out some of their incredible wedding planning secrets…

First of all, how did you and Brennon meet and what is your favourite thing about your relationship?
We actually met out on the town one night , I rejected him the first time we met when he asked for my number and then a couple of weeks later I was hoping we would run into each other again on a night out….and then right before I was about to head home he happened to be walking by so we got to talking , exchanged numbers and the rest is history!!

My favourite thing about our relationship is that it’s just fun and easy! We both support each others dreams and ambitions and know we will always be there for one another.

How was the proposal?
The proposal was beautiful, we had spent the weekend away in Noosa just Brennon, Talullah and I and on our last day we decided to go for a walk when we came across a beautiful reserve that looked out over the beach! Brennon suggested we should take some photos before we headed home and as we were snapping away he dropped down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

How did you find the whole wedding planning process and what tip would you offer to future couples to make the process easier for them?
I found the whole wedding planning process really fun! I had so much help from the amazing Bettina ( Byron Bay Wedding Planner) which made the process so easy and care free!! My best tip would be to hire a wedding planner! Everything on our magical day ran smoothly and on schedule thanks to her!! She kept me updated the whole day which honestly made it completely stress free!!

How did you know what style wedding you wanted? Did you and Brennon clash on any decisions when it came to the “theme”?

I wasn’t really sure to begin with….  but once I found “the dress”  and our venue I think that lead me to a boho / tropical theme for the day!! Brennon trusted me with most of the decision making hahah so that made the process a whole lot easier!!

What was your favourite thing about your wedding day?
Aside from marrying the man of my dreams, I honestly can’t pick only one ! Everything was my favourite! From the location of where myself and the girls got ready to the styling of the ceremony and reception to our wonderful celebrant then to the incredible band we had to the florals to our extremely talented photographer and all the amazing help from our wedding planner… everything was beyond perfect! The whole day felt like a absolute dream!
